# Bookmarks

> Save and organize important messages for quick access

## Using Bookmarks

<Steps>
  <Step title="Bookmark a message">
    Right-click any message and choose "Apps" → "Bookmark Message"

    * The bot will DM you a bookmark card with the message preview
    * Works in servers, DMs, and group DMs where the bot is present

  <Step title="Open your bookmark">
    Check your DMs from the bot. Each bookmark includes:

    * The original author's name and avatar
    * Message preview and timestamp
    * Buttons to jump to the message or delete the bookmark

## Managing Bookmarks

    In the DM, press the 🗑️ Delete button on the bookmark card

    Press the "Jump to message" button to open the original message location

## Advanced Features

    Bookmarks include a snapshot: author, time sent, content preview, attachments preview (when possible), and a jump link

    If your DMs are closed, the bot will let you know to open DMs and try again

## Bookmark Organization

Bookmarks are displayed with:

* The original message content
* The author's name and avatar
* The date and time the message was sent
* The channel where the message was posted
* Quick access links to the original message

* Save memorable community moments
* Use bookmarks for quick reference to important content
* Regularly review and clean up old bookmarks
